Mid-week Update

Halloween at GV

We look forward to some Halloween celebrations this week at GV.   On Friday, Oct. 30, students are invited to wear appropriate costumes (nothing too frightening and no weapons / replicas).  Primary students will participate in a parade on Friday in the gym @ 9:00 a.m.  and parents are welcome to join us.

Staffing Update

Congratulations to Ms. Copeland who has been appointed by the Surrey District in the new role as Vice Principal at Mary Jane Shannon Elem.  Ms. Copeland will begin her new assignment on November 2nd.

We wish Ms. Copeland all the best as she begins her new journey.  We thank her for her excellent leadership, teaching, and many contributions to Georges Vanier during the past four years.
