WOW! We have an exciting week coming up at GV. On Monday, Google Expeditions will be visiting our school. Students in grades 2-7 will be able to take a virtual reality field trip to exotic locations around the world. On Tuesday and Wednesday the Vancouver Aquarium AquaVan will be at GV. They will set up in the gym and MPR, and students will be learning more about aquatic creatures and environments. This will be an incredible week of unique learning experiences!

Fuel Our School – Kindergarten Outdoor Explorers
Our kindergarten teachers have made an application through My Class Needs to help expand outdoor learning opportunities for our students. Our goal is to incorporate outdoor education daily to enhance students’ language skills, explore learning in fresh air through physical activity, facilitate play-based learning in nature, and ignite students’ passion for environmental responsibility.
