We look forward to a safe and fun-filled Halloween on Tuesday!  Primary classes will take part in a costume parade in the morning, some intermediate classes are going swimming, and grade 7s will enjoy a dance in the afternoon.   See your child’s teacher about other plans for the day.

We look forward to celebrating Diwali this week at GV!  Parent volunteers are providing all students with a pizza lunch on Wednesday, and Thursday is our Diwali assembly and staff luncheon.  Staff, students and families are welcome to dress up for this special occasion.

Thanks to the many students and families who were able to come out to Meet The Teacher last Thursday evening.  We also greatly appreciate our PAC members who connected with families, offered chai tea and sold wonderful treats!  All parents / guardians are very welcome to contribute to PAC and become involved in small and more significant ways.  Your participation, suggestions and new ideas are always welcome!
